Preface
AlphaBank Payment Gateway extension is a secure checkout payment integration with the AlphaBank e-Commerce Banking System using the redirect method. It allows you to accept payments by most widely accepted credit/debit cards, Masterpass or online Bank Transfer using the IRIS system (the customer needs to have an account in a bank that supports IRIS payments). You can configure the extension to offer installments and the available installment periods can be varied depending on the cart total amount. Since the transaction is carried out in AlphaBank’s secure environment your site does not need PCI compliance thus reducing the site’s TCO.

There have been a number of reports of an issue with payments using the redirect method in Magento. If your site is affected by the issue you will notice the following:
- After successful payment customer is redirected to an empty cart instead of the success page
- After a failed or cancelled payment the customer is correctly redirected back to their cart but the cart is empty
- A registered customer may be logged out after a payment (successful or not)
AlphaBank TLS 1.0 and 1.1 support notice
AlphaBank has sent out a notice to their e-Commerce platform customers regarding phasing out support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocols.

We have had a few requests to run AlphaBank Payment Gateway on Magento 2.2.x sites. While Magento 2.2.x is now EOL and we cannot officially support running our extensions on this version, we understand that upgrading to 2.3.x may take some time. To help store owners still on 2.2.x have a working solution until they finally upgrade we have fixed all compatibility issues in our latest version (1.1.2) except on. Unfortunately this last issue requires us to publish a separate release of our extension specifically for 2.2.x which Magento Marketplace will not allow us to do.

Installation
Follow standard installation procedures described in Magento 2 documentation.
Please make sure you test installation and configuration on a staging site identical to your production site. Test integration with AlphaBank payment gateway using test credentials provided by your bank. Once everything is tested and there are no conflicts, only then proceed with installation on your production site.
